NotesOn 14 November 1899, Ann Phoebe Adkins was baptised at St Mark, Regents Park, parents were named as Richard and Lena Adkins, their address was 30 Chalcot Crescent, and her father was a hospital porter.

Her siblings Proctor Selby and Theodora Margaret were also baptised on the same date.

In 1908, Ann Adkins, 9 (along with her sister, Theodora Margaret Adkins, 11) arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of Barnardo children: 118 boys to Toronto and 101 girls to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
