James Bostock remarried 16 year old Selina Proctor in 1879 in Wolstanton, Staffordshire, England.

In 1887, Selina Bostock, 13, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 18 Maria Rye children en route to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, via Suspension Bridge.
