NotesBorn Datchworth, Hertfordshire, England 1912.Reg. Dec Q Ware 3a/1376. Mother's surname Phipps. He was a child of Albert Lisles(1880-1914), a farm labourer, and Harriett Phipps (3/1/1883 - 1916) his parents marrying in 1905 in Hertfordshire.

His elder brother, Nelson Sidney Lisles(1910 -? ) Reg. June Q Ware 3a/749 was on the same voyage.

His youngest brother, Horace D. (1914- ?)Reg. Mar Q Ware 3a/1406 also went to Canada in 1928 refer existing record in the register.
