Hi,

James William Scrancher was my 2x great uncle, brother of my great grandfather. He was born 15th Aug 1896 in Hapton, Norfolk. He was the son of Thomas Scrancher and Rosa Scrancher nee Dix.

James went to Canada, aged 15 in 1913 via Barnardos and fought in WW1 for Canadian Forces. He was killed in 1917.
