Parents: Joseph Miller Crawshaw, 19, spinner, son of John Crawshaw; and Mary Breheney, 18, daughter of Patrick Breheney, married May 30, 1903 at Holy Trinity Church, Batley Carr, Yorkshire, England.
On May 19 1922, Gladys Crawshaw, 12, arrived in Canada, birthplace given as Dewsbury, she declared she was going to do domestic work, her passage was paid by Dr Barnardo Homes, she was going to Dr Barnardo Home, Hazel Brae, Peterborough, Ontario, she gave her next of kin as her brothers Richard, Ernest and Henry, Boys Garden City, Woodford, London
