(Parents: Alfred Thomas Driver and Clara Kathleen Aldridge, married Islington, North London, on February 9, 1902.)

The family resided in the Wood Green, Hornsey, Islington, London, England, area until the death of Alfred Thomas Driver in 1908. The couple had three children: William Thomas Driver b: June 15, 1902 in Hornsey, North London; Violet Muriel (Crouter) b: 1904; and Rose b: 1907.

Alfred Thomas Driver died on December 28, 1908.

In 1910, William Driver, 8, arrived at Quebec, Canada, along with a group of 132 Barnardo children en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. (His sister Violet Muriel DRIVER was also sent to Canada in 1913 at age 9.)

William never saw his mother or his sister Rose again. His mother sent photos of his stepbrothers and stepfather (the Wollingtons), but he never met any of them prior to his death. His sister Violet was placed in a town close to where William was living, however, it was 20 years before they met each other again.

William Thomas Driver married Kathleen Little, in Ontario, Canada, they had 12 children: Clara Loreen Driver (Poehlman); Sylvia Kathleen Driver (Gaal) b: 1929 d: 1984; Muriel Rose Driver (Welland); Arnold Alfred Driver; Esther Bernadine Driver (Gallant); Wilburt Thomas Driver; Gloria June Driver (Vickers); Winnifred Jean Driver (Hausauer); Sandra Faith Driver (Patterson); Grant William Driver; Christina Fay Driver (Holden); and Marshall Wayne Driver.

William Thomas Driver died in 1973.
