In 1907, Charles Boad, 15 (along with brother Robert Boad, 14) arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, with a group of 102 Quarriers children en route to Brockville, Ontario, Canada.
A great-niece related "In 1911 he wrote to the Quarriers Home asking about his other brothers, the letter was from Dirleton, Ontario. The letter is not in the hands of the Quarriers Home, just the mention on the records. I get the feeling Charles wasnt in great health."
