NotesThomas' actual date of birth was February 4, 1898. As his parents were not married at the time, his Birth Certificate reads as Thomas William PRICE. His parents, Francis Charles King & Emily Price did marry June 24, 1901, in Registry Office, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England.

In 1910, Thomas King, 11, arrived at Quebec, Canada, along with a group of 111 Barnardo children en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His two brothers, Charles and William KING arrived together July 3, 1912 on SS Royal Edward and were sent to farms in Ontario via Salvation Army. None of the brothers ever saw each other again after they were separated.

Thomas was also placed on farms in He was placed in Lynden, Cheapside and Canfield, Ontario according to Barnardo records.

On June 30, 1915, Thomas William King, 19, enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces (Service No. 451872). He declared that he was born in Gloucestershire, England; that his next of kin was his mother, Mrs. W. King, who resided at 243 James Street, Gloucestershire, England; that his date of birth was February 4, 1897; that he was a farmer; and that he currently belonged to the active militia. He was described as 5 foot 2 inches in height; dark complexion; brown eyes; dark hair. He was a member of the Presbyterian faith. He had distinguishing features of 3 vaccination marks and a birth mark on his right bottom. He was scheduled for an operation on a variocele.

In 1919, Thomas married Gertrude Rose Barber in Toronto. They had 3 daughters.

Thomas William Price King died in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on December 13, 1965.
