In 1901, Alfred Penicard, 11 months of age, was shown residing at Hyde Stile, Hambledon, Surrey, England. Other family members included: Violet M. In 1912, Alfred Pennicard, 12 (along with his brother, Percy Pennicard, 7) arrived at Quebec, Canada, with a group of 181 Barnardo boys en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada

On September 10, 1914, at Nicholls Hospital, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, Alfred Pennicard, 14, laborer, died cerebro-spinal meningitis, 1 weeks duration, and heart failure, 24 hours duration. Alfred is buried at Little Lake Cemetery, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, along with 46 other Barnardo children who were a part of Hazlebrae House.
