On 27 September 1919, Albert S Pilley, 29, born London, England, son of Joseph James Pilley and Elizabeth Smith, married Lottie M Peer, in Bronte, Halton. Ontario

On 15 July 1929, Albert Sidney Pilley, 38 years 9 months and 27 days, died at Christie Street Hospital, Toronto, he was born September 19 1890 England. He was a farming labourer. He had been in Canada for 25 years. His parents were named as Joseph and Elizabeth Pilley. The informant was given as wife Lottie Pilley, Palermo, Ontario. He was buried in the same place. The cause was put down as Chronic Peritonitis (TB) Chronic Obstruction of the Bowel and Chronic Pleuritis brought on by Astittis Cedema - Congestion of the Lungs

His wife Lottie died a year later in 1930 of Peritonitis. She was buried in Palermo
