Ada Hanson Aggas died at the age of 40 on August 30, 1901, at Hunslet Union Workhouse, Hunslet, West Yorkshire, England.

In 1902, Clara Aggas, 10 (along with sister, Ethel Aggas, 11), arrived at Boston, Massachusetts, USA, in a large group of 395 Barnardo children en route to Toronto and Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

Her father, John William Aggas died on July 18, 1908 in Holbeck, Leeds Yorkshire, England.
