A report from Maria Rye lists the Children from the Peckham home in 1881 and their placements in Canada. Both sisters were placed in Newcastle, Ontario, Canada: Elizabeth to a Mr. F. N., Wharfinger; [EDITORS NOTE: Mr. Francis Nicholson was harbour master for many years in the Village of Newcastle]; and Kate to Mr. J. L., Farmer.
