NotesA birth registration was found for Violet Daisy Perrett: Year of Registration: 1895; Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar; District: Melksham; County: Wiltshire; Volume: 5a; Page: 121. Parents: William Perrett and Mary Agnes Brinkworth, married 1886, Melksham, Wiltshire, England.

In 1907, Violet Perrett, 12, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 253 Barnardo children en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

On July 13, 1914, at Midland, Simcoe, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Violet Daisy Perrett, 21, born in Melksham, Wiltshire, England, to William and Mary Edna Perrett; and Daniel Richardson, 27, engineer, born in Warkworth, Northumberland, Ontario, Canada, to James T. Richardson and Emma J. Wright.

On September 23, 1914, Mrs. D. Richardson (Violet Perrett), who resided at Warkworth, Ontario, was shown as the next of kin on the attestation for enlistment for Daniel Richardson, 28, engineer.

Daniel Richardson, merchant, died on July 8, 1922, at Percy Township, Northumberland, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 37 years. The cause of death was aortic regurgitation and edema of the lungs. The informant was his brother, Hugh Richardson of Warkworth, Ontario. He was buried at Warkworth Cemetery.
