NotesIn 1891, Emily Coombs, 3 years of age, was shown as an inmate of Girls Village Home for Orphan Neglected and Destitute Girls, Ilford, Essex, England. (Source: 1891 Census of England; Class: RG12; Piece: 1370; Folio 103; Page 20; GSU roll: 6096480.)

In 1900, Emily Coombe, 12, arrived at Quebec, Canada, along with a group of 121 Barnardo children from London, Mile End, Whitechapel Workhouses, en route to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

On November 12, 1906, at the Barnardo Home in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, Emily Coombs, 18, servant, died of tuberculosis, 6 months duration. She is buried at Little Lake Cemetery, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, along with 46 other Barnardo children who were a part of Hazlebrae House.
