George Gardner Merrall married [Melinda] Margaret Kline (born October 6, 1890, daughter of Henry Kiline and Minnie Borr) in Saskatchewan, Canada.

At least 6 children were born of this marriage: Hazel Violet Merrall, born about 1909; Vera Mae Merrall, born March 10, 1910, in Unity, Saskatchewan, Canada; Beatrice Roselda Merrall, born about 1912; John Henry Merrall, born about 1913; Georgina Merrall; and Eileen Whelemina Merrall, born about 1915.

He declared that he had been born in Ramsgate, England; that he was a rancher; that his contact in Canada was his wife, Malinda; that he was going to visit his daughter, Mrs. Hazel Sullivan, who resided at 1030 West Chestnut, Walla Walla, Washington. He was described as 5 foot 7 inches in height; medium complexion; blue eyes; brown hair.

George Gardner Merrall died on May 28, 1964, at the age of 83, in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. [Registration Number: 1964-09-007963]. Melinda Margaret Kline Merrall died on January 6, 1967, in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
