In 1895, Sidney Morgan, 7, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 298 Barnardo boys accompanied by Mr. Owens and en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Noted in the January 1, 1901, edition of Barnardos Ups and Downs:
"We are reproducing a photograph that was sent to us a short time ago of the two little lads, Ernest and Sidney Morgan. They are both bright, promising boys, and doing in every way as well as could desire. They have lived together since they came to the country, and have been under the best care and training with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mainhood, of Port Sydney."
On July 7, 1912, at Merritt, British Columbia, Canada, a marriage was registered between Sidney George Morgan, 23, born in Chichester, England, to William Morgan and Alice Wright; and Elizabeth May Jackes, 19, born in Lower Nicola, British Columbia, Canada, to Edward Jackes and Mary Brown. [Registration number: 1912-09-139402]
Sydney George Morgan, 35, died in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada, on February 7, 1921.
