Attestation papers signed 22 Sep 1914 at Valcartier, Quebec. Robert Wicks was born 15 Nov in Sudbury, Sussex, England. His Next of Kin was Thomas Wicks of Strathcona, Alberta. He had previous military experience with the Kingston Artillery. 5'5" in height with blue eyes and light coloured hair, he had an appendicitis scar on his right side and four vaccination marks on his left arm.
