NotesA birth registration was found for Albert Edward Kelsey: Year of Registration: 1882; Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec; District: Thanet; County: Kent; Volume: 2a; Page: 903.

In 1893, Albert Kelsey, 10, arrived in Quebec, Canada, along with a group of 11 children, accompanied by Mr. Pady en route to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. (Sisters Edith Kelsey, 7, arrived in 1892, and Florence Kelsey, 7, in 1894, on the Mongolian, respectively; and brother, Alfred Kelsey arrived in 1892.)

Albert was placed with Mr. Ormeston, Balgonie, Assinaboia, The Territories, Canada.

In Ploughshares and Prairie Trails, Dilke and District, a book about Dilke, Saskatchewan, Canada the following was found:

"Edith Kelsey was born in Margate, England. She came to Canada as an orphan at the age of seven years. ... Her brothers Albert and Charles, and a sister homesteaded in the Kedleston district on the Jack Johnson farm: G.C. Daintree's were near-by neighbours.
