On Nov 3rd 1917, Wilfred Dennis Darnell enlisted in Canadian Army, he declared his birth place as Helensburgh, Scotland. His next of kin was brother-Walter Darnell, St Eugene, Ont. He gave his address as Vernon, Ont.

In June 1920, Wilfred Darnell, returning soldier, 19, arrived in Eastport, Idaho. His last permanent residence was Edmonton. He had no relations in the country of his last residence. He had no contact in America.

In 1930, Wilfred D Darnell, 30, boarder, farm labourer, living with Adam and Elizabeth Spence in North Hanover, Burlington, New Jersey

Wilfred D Darnell died aged 90 in Portland, Maine on 27 Jan 1991.
