Notes[POSSIBLE MATCH] In 1891, Edward Baldwin, 12 years of age, was shown as a pauper / inmate at Epping Union Workhouse, Theydon Garnon, Essex, England. His place of birth is shown as Buckhurst Hill, Essex, England. A brother, Archibald Baldwin, 13, at the Workhouse at the same time. (Source: 1891 Census of England; Class: RG12; Piece: 1363; Folio 147; Page 5; GSU roll: 6096473.) Parents to these two children are Archibald and Elizabeth Baldwin.

In 1892, Edward Baldwin, 13, arrived at Quebec, along with a group of 85 children from Middlemore Home in Birmingham, England, en route to Macpherson Home in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. (This is an unusual circumstance for Middlemore children to be placed in Stratford, Ontario.)

In 1901, Edward Baldwin, 23, farm laborer, was shown as a lodger at the home of Samuel A. and Frances Heaslin in Whitehead, Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. His date of birth was shown as March 30, 1877, and his immigration year as 1897.

In 1906, Edward Baldwin, 27, was shown as a laborer to John and Henry Marshall of Assiniboia East, Saskatchewan, Canada.
