In 1901, Frank Wright, 2 years of age, was shown residing at 40 Highbury Road, Kings Norton, Worcestershire, England. Other family members included: Stanley Wright, 39, house painter; Mary A. Wright, 37, house maid; Stanley C. Wright, 17, house painter; Ellen Wright, 15; Mary A. Wright, 13; John Wright, 11; Frederick Wright, 9; Susan Wright, 7; Robert Wright, 5; James D. Wright, 1. In 1912, Frank Leslie Wright, 14 (along with his brother, James Daniel Wright, 11; and sister, Dorothy Wright, 10) arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, in a group of 154 Middlemore children from Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.

Frank Leslie Wright was placed with Silas Kirkpartick, in Wirral, Queens County , New Brunswick.

On February 6, 1918, at West St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, Frank Leslie Wright, 19, enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces. He declared that he resided at Gaspereaux Station, Queens, New Brunswick, Canada; that he was born in Birmingham, England; that his next of kin was his mother, Mary Annie Wright, who resided at 49 Gough Road, Greet, Birmingham, England; that his date of birth was April 5, 1898; that he was a farmer; and that he was not married. He was described as 5 foot 7 inches in height; fair complexion; blue eyes; black hair. He was a Methodist by faith.

On March 23, 1921, at Petersville, Queens County, New Brunswick, Canada, a marriage was registered between Frank Leslie Wright, 23; and Winnifred (Minnie) Elizabeth Wright, born February 3, 1903, daughter of Charles Edgar Wright and Annie Benson.

Frank Leslie and Minnie Elizabeth Wright had at least six children, including: Phyllis Lillian Wright; Muriel Dora Wright; James Ernest Wright born January 14, 1923 in Tracy, Sunbury County, New Brunswick, Canada; Leslie Irvin Wright, born May 27, 1925 in Tracy, Sunbury County, New Brunswick, Canada; Frank Arden Wright; and Grace Elizabeth Wright, born February 28, 1930 in Tracy, Sunbury County, New Brunswick, Canada.

Frank Leslie Wright died March 23, 1961. Winnifred (Minnie) Elizabeth Wright died December 31, 1977.
