Their address from 1908 to 1922 was No. 1 The Barracks or Barricks, Stafford Street, Dudley, West Midlands, England.
Samuel Henry Jones died May 9,1918.
Samuel Jones went into the care of the Church of England Waifs and Strays Society and was placed in the Emmeline Winstanley Home, Knutsford, England on January 9, 1923. Previously, he was in the Middlemore Emigration Home, St. Luke's Road, Birmingham, England along with his brother, Joseph Jones, who was emigrated to in 1924 to Halifax.
In 1927, Samuel Jones, 15, arrived at Montreal, along with a group of 50 children from the Waifs & Strays Society and en route to Gibbs Home, Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada.
Samuel was placed in the employ of Mr. R. Carleton, Cumberland, Ontario Canada. His brother, Joseph Jones, was working in 1932 for a Mrs. Minnie MacKay of Bayfield, Westmoreland, New Brunswick, Canada and at that time Samuel was working nearby.
