NotesJohn Thomas was the eldest son of Robert Thomas and Annie Parry, he was Born in Llanfairisgaer Wales. John also had a brother Robert Henry Thomas born 1910. In 1911 Annie Parry died and three years later Robert Thomas senior passed away, leaving the two children orphaned. Robert Henry Thomas was fostered by the Hawkins family, and John Thomas was for what ever reason shipped to Canada at the age of 14 and a half years old. He worked on a farm and then I understand joined the Canadian Royal air force. He remained in Canada for the rest of his life, he never saw his family again and it is only through rumours that I have managed to obtain the above information, I am still searching to find out where he lived and piece his life together.
