NotesIn 1905, the Kensington docked at Halifax, then Portland, where 269 boys, including Frederick Eden, 10, disembarked. The original list was lost and a list prepared in 1934 appears on the reel.

In 1911, Frederick Eden, 16, laborer for George Taylor and family in Albion, Peel, Ontario, Canada. His date of birth is shown as June 1895 and his immigration year as 1905.

On July 3, 1916, Frederick Edward Eden enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces. He declared that he resided at R. R. #2, Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada; that he was born in London, England; that his next of kin was his friend Seymour Cooper, who resided at R. R. #2, Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada (EDITORS NOTE: Originally the next of kin was listed as his mother (no name) who resided at 79 Hooper Road, Custom House, London, England, but this was crossed out); that he was born on July 3, 1895; that he was a farmer; and that he was single. He was described as 5 foot 5-3/4 inches in height; medium complexion; blue eyes; fair hair. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. He had a distinguishing mark of a scar on his right knee.
