Notes From "The War Cry" June 1 1929:
One lad, Richard Noyce, was recently presented with the life-saving certificate of the Royal Canadian Humane Association, for the saving of a companion from drowning near Huntingford last year. The presentation was made in the presence of many prominent citizens of Oxford County including Mr. Hugh Allan, MP and tributes were paid to The Army for the fine class of boys it is bringing to this country.
