NotesIn 1928, Alfred Burrows, 12, arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

His Juvenile Inspection Report from Middlemores showed: In Octobert, 1928, he was residing with William S. Peterson of Tracey Mills, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada. In March, 1929, Alfred was residing at "The Home" (Middlemore's) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. In June 1929 Alfred was with James H. Chittick, RR 1, Collina (9 miles NW of Sussex), Kings, New Brunswick, Canada. Alfred's file was marked "completed 31.1.36".

The death of Alfred Burrows was reported in the Telegraph Journal, Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, on March 4, 1948, on p. 14. In part, it stated that the death of Alfred Burrows, 32, occurred at Keirstead Mountain, New Brunswick, Canada, on March 1, 1948. Alfred Burrows was a native of England and came to Gagetown, New Brunswick, as a young boy. At the age of 12, he went to live with Mr and Mrs Herbert CHITTICK at Keirstead Mountain, New Brunswick. He was single and his mother was believed living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. (New Brunswick Death Registration: 2138; Volume: 183; Microfilm: F19587)

The same paper reported on March 5, 1948, that Alfred Burrows was buried at the Church of England Cemetery, Goshen, Queens, New Brunswick, Canada.
