NotesWilliam was admitted into Park Row Industrial School 30 July 1873 for begging. I can't read the writing very well but it looks like he emigrated April 7/74, possibly to Kansas, USA. Shortly after his admission his father deserted the family leaving Sarah with 5 younger children.
