In 1911, M. Autisell, 16 (along with his brother, Evans Autisell, 14), arrived with a group of 100 children accompanied by Mr. Merry. Evans and his brother were a part of a group of children involved in the Smyly Homes of Dublin and probably on their way to Hespeler, Ontario, Canada.

On October 27, 1914, Thomas Christopher Monsell (Mitchell) Antisell, 19, enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces. He declared that he was born in Dublin, Ireland; that his next of kin was Thomas C. Antisell, who resided at 45 Brant Avenue, Dublin, Ireland; that his date of birth was April 24, 1895; that he was a farmer; and that he was not married. He was described as 5 foot 7 inches in height; medium complexion; hazel eyes; black hair. He was a member of the Wesleyan faith.
