NotesIn 1902, Abdul Ablakhat, 18, from the Boys Home, at Stepney Causeway, London, England, arrived at Boston, Massachusetts, USA, in a group of 238 Barnardo children and young persons accompanied by Mr. Owen. The group left Montreal the same day by C.P.R. special train for their destination, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, July 25th, 1902.

It was reported in the August 1903 edition of Ups & Downs that a silver medal for good conduct and length of service was to be recommended to be awarded to Abdullah Ahmid
