A death registration was found for Catherine Archer Abram: Estimated Birth Year: abt 1857; Year of Registration: 1889; Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec; Age at Death: 32; District: Greenwich; County: Greater London, Kent, London; Volume: 1d; Page: 569.

In 1895, Marie E. Abram, 10 (along with sisters, Catherine L. Abram, 15, and Zillah E. Abram, 8), arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 298 Barnardo children accompanied by Mr. Owens and en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Maria Abram changed her name to Amelia Maria Elizabeth Abram after arriving in Canada.
