In 1911, Edmund aka Edward Ackers, 3, son, with Clara J Ackers, widow, 39, and siblings Violet, 15, Cyril, 10, Lily, 9, Victor, 6, and Mary aged 1.

In March Qtr of 1915, a death of a Clara J Ackers aged 43 was registered in Plymouth

In 1920, Edmund Ackers, 13, arrived with 143 Barnardo boys en route to 50-52 Peter Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He declared his intention was to do farming, His passage was paid by Dr Barnardo Homes, and his destination was Mr J Hobday, 50-52 Peter St, Toronto, his next of kin was given as Dr Barnardo Homes, 18/26 Stepney Causeway, London

In January 1924, Edmund (Eddie) was the next of kin to his brother Victor when he entered the States, Eddie's address was given as Paglan, Ontario.
