Mary Kate Jane had five siblings: Ethel Maud Jane, born May 15, 1887; Jane Elizabeth born December 8, 1888; Arthur Thomas born March 17, 1892; and Charlotte born December 27, 1893.

A death registration was found for Edwin(?) Thomas Adamthwaite: Estimated Birth Year: abt 1862; Year of Registration: 1894; Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep; Age at Death: 32; District: Islington; County: Greater London, London, Middlesex; Volume: 1b; Page: 198.

Agnes Kate Jane Adamthwaite was remarried on June 9, 1895, to John Thomas Bardell at Saint Paul, Homerton, London, England.

In 1898, Mary Adamthwaite, 10 (along with sister, Ethel M. Adamthwaite, 10), arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 127 Barnardo girls en route to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

Mary Kate Jane Adamthwaite married Edward Anderson. Edward died in 1958 and Mary died in 1961. They are both buried in Spring Hill Cemetery, Springhill Road, Osgoode Township, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
