NotesOn December 24, 1871, Thomas Wm Adlington, 23, Labourer, Bachelor, of 90 Cotton St. son of Thomas Adlington, Mast & Block Marker, married Ann Jane Adlington, 23, Needlewoman, Spinster, of 27 Edward St, daughter of Benjamin Adlington, Mariner.

A birth registration was found for Percival Stanley Adlington: Year of Registration: 1882; Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec; District: Stepney (To 1921); County: London, Middlesex; Volume: 1c; Page: 443.

On 17 September 1882, Percival Stanley Adlington was baptised at Saint Paul, Bow Common, to Thomas William and Ann Jane Adlington of 4 Farrant Terrace. His father was a Carman. His brother George Richard was also baptised at the same time.

In 1891, George R Adlington, 10 (along with brother, P S Adlington, 9), arrived at Portland, Maine, in a group of 40 Barnardo boys en route to Montreal, Quebec, Canada and final destination Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

On December 25, 1908, at Dereham, Oxford, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Percival S. Adlington, 25, farmer, born in England to Wm Adlington and Annie Adlington; and Alice M Marshall, 25, housemaid, born in Bayham, Ontario, Canada, to Wm Marshall and Rebeca Dicker.

Percival Stanley and Alice M Marshall Adlington had at least 2 children: Harry Adlington, born December 12, 1911 (died March 4, 1975) and Ella May Adlington, born December 6, 1909 (died May 1989).

Alice Maud Marshall Adlington died December 24, 1933, at St Thomas, Elgin, Ontario, Canada. Percival Stanley Adlington died in November, 1971, in Wellington, Guelph, Ontario, Canada. They are both buried in Tillsonburg, Oxford, Ontario, Canada.
