Notes On December 1 1905, John Agar was baptised at St Peter and St Paul, Aston, son of Bartholomew and Lettice?, of 26 H?? Road,
on April 6 1902, a sister Lettice Agar was baptised, she had been born March 11 1902. Sadly young Lettice died aged 5 in 1907.
In 1911, John Agar, 6, arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, in a group of 172 Middlemore children.
On February 21, 1932, John Agar died at Inverness Memorial Hospital, Inverness, Inverness, Nova Scotia, Canada, at the age of 26 years, 3 months, 5 days, of Asthma, Emphysema, Chronic Myocarditis, Chronic Nephritis, and Heart Failure. He had lived in Canada and Nova Scotia for 20 years, and at his current residence (North Rim?, Victoria?, Nova Scotia) for one month. "This boy came to Canada 20 years ago. His mother and father are unknown."
