On September 8, 1920, at Brockville, Leeds, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Agnes Maxwell Alcorn, 22, born in Glasgow, Scotland, to George Alcorn and Jane Maxwell; and another home child, George Alexander Beaton, 22, student vocational training, born in Newcastle-on-Tyne, England, to Alec Beaton (mother's name not remembered as she died in his early childhood). Agnes' sister, Margaret Anne Alcorn was a witness to the marriage.
