Alexander Angus, file cutter, widower of Agnes Crawford Watson, was found dead on September 3, 1901, at 10:30 a.m., at 7 Elmfoot Street, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. He had committed suicide by hanging. The informant was his brother-in-law, Robert A. Watson.
In 1905, Agnes Angus, 13 (along with sisters, Jeannie Angus, 12, and Margaret Angus, 10), arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 84 Quarrier children from the Orphan Homes of Scotland going to `Fair Knowe', Brockville, Ontario, Canada, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. D.J. Findley of Lanark and Mr. George Roberts, a widower from England.
