28 East Street, Eastbourne, and his occupation as Horseman. His next of kin was Mercia Aukett, mother, 28 East Street, Eastbourne,
He applied for repatriation to Canada on 11 January 1919 According to his application he had originally returned from Alvinston, Ontario, Canada to join the RTA. His date of return to England was 28.10.1914 on SS Hesperian. He was officially discharged on 31 March 1920.
'Applicant came from Canada in Oct 1914 to join imperial force and bears a certificate to that effect from the agent of Dr Barnardo Homes, Toronto'
His wife Annie Margaret Aukett, 49 Church St, Eastbourne, made a similar claim, grounds were given as 'soldiers wife', details of references Parents-Mr and Mrs Wraight, 8 Revelon Road, Brockley, London,
In 1934 he appears to have written to the Army about a matter that they responded to, and his address is given as 212 Huron St, London, Ontario, a copy of his letter was enclosed, it appears he was seeking a copy of some letters that arrived at his mothers address from the Army but never reached him.
