On November 12 1914, Alexander Ayoub, born 1862, wife Rose, and children Richard Wm and Cecil Edward entered the Workhouse,

Alexander Speredon Ayoub, born 1862, entered the workhouse on 12 November 1914 until 14 June 1916 when he was discharged to the Infirmary. He returned to the workhouse on 30 June 1916 until 23 Oct 1916 when he died.

his wife Rose Florence born 1886 entered the workhouse on 11 Feb 1916 until 26 April 1916 when she went into service

On October 23 1916, Alexander Speredon Ayoub, 54, died in Wandsworth Union, of Morbus Cordis Syncope, he was buried in Wandsworth Cemetery

On August 11 1915, Richard Wm Ayoub, born 1907 and Cecil Edward born 1910, re-entered Wandsworth Workhouse from 'Herne Bay'. Richard was transferred to J S on August 12 1915 while his brother was discharged the same date c/o mother. On Feb 11 1916, Richard returned to the Union until 13 Feb 1916 when he was sent to the Infirmary. Cecil came back on Sept 7 1915 until September 8th 1915 when he was sent to J S. On June 16 1916 Richard returned from the Infirmary and was despatched to J S on June 23 1916

On May 27 1922, Richard Ayoub, 14, arrived in Canada, he declared that he was currently a school boy but planned to go into farm work in Canada, he was born in Brixton, London, his passage was paid by Wandsworth Guardians. He was destined for St George's Home, 1153 Wellington St, Ottawa, he stated his next of kin was his mother Rose Ayoub, 28 Hampsden Avenue, Beckenham

In September 1922, his mother Rose, 33, arrived in Canada, she stated her aim in coming was to join her son, she gave her occupation as Housekeeper, her passage was paid by the Salvation Army. She was going to Toronto. She gave her next of kin
as her daughter Esther Stockwell, address not given. She stated she was born in Peckham. She was accompanied her son Cecil, 12,

On 22 September 1924, Rose Florence Ayoub nee Stockwell, 33, daughter of Frederick Stockwell and Mary Johnson, married
John Angus McLean, in Toronto, Ontario
