NotesOn January 21 1920, Alice Edith, 12, James, 10, Nellie aged 6 and John Sidney aged 5 entered Renfrew Road Workhouse, from 4 Mancroft Cottage. All four children were sent to Norwood Schools the same day.. James left the school on May 11 1922 'For Emigration to Canada, while John was discharged on 28 March 1924 to Dr Barnardo's for Canada

Nellie Babey entered Norwood Schools on January 21 1920 from Renfrew Road Workhouse, with her sister Alice Edith, informant Brother, she was born 24 April 1913, discharged 28 March 1924

On September 26 1924, Nellie Babey, 11, arrived in Canada, she declared that she was going to attend School, she was going to
c/o Mrs Hobday, 538 Jarvis St, Toronto, Ontario, her next of kin was given as Dr Barnardo Homes, 18/26 Stepney Causeway, London
