Notes In 1900, A. R. Baggallay, 13, arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, in a group of 108 Middlemore children en route to the Maritime Provinces.
On November 6, 1907, at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, a marriage was registered between A. B. Baggallay, 22, soldier, born in England to W. B. and May Baggallay; and Margaret Barry, 23, born in Newfoundland to William and M. S. Barry.
At least 3 children were born of this marriage: Arthur W. Baggallay, born September 1908, at Nova Scotia, Canada, died on November 21, 1908, at the age of 7 weeks, of hydrocephalus and encephalitis, at 338 Agricola Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; Gerard Baggallay, born about 1909 in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and William Colin Baggallay, born July 13, 1910, at Belleville, Ontario, Canada. 2 other children may be a part of this family: Edna Baggallay and Eileen Baggallay.
On June 10, 1911, Corporal Arthurt R. Baggalley, 29, returned to the United Kingdom on the ship Empress of Ireland.
