On August 16 1926, Leslie Baldwin, 26, Assistant Caretaker, born England, son of Nellie Baldwin (father's name unknown), married Ethel Mary Tullett, 25, Operator, born England, daughter of Albert Daniel Tullett and Phoebe Lillian Hulcoop, in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada.

Ethel Baldwin (listed as May in the passenger record) arrived in Canada in January 1926 aged 24 with her mother Phoebe, 55, she was born in Aldershot and had previously lived in Canada from 1907 until June 27 1925 at 162 Amelia St, Toronto and were heading home to the same address.

On January 28, 1944, Leslie Baldwin, 44, married, born in London, England, crossed into the United States through the port of Buffalo, New York. He declared that he was employed as an Inop [?] for T H Elson, Chairman, Inop[?] Board Small Arms; that his last permanent address was 18 Newman Drive, Etoicobe, Ontario, Canada; that he was going to visit his friend John F. Olt, who resided at 2678 South 18th Street, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania for one week. He was described as 5 foot 5 inches in height; medium complexion; brown hair; brown eyes. He had arrived in Canada in 1911 through the port of St. John on an unknown ship.
