He declared that he was born in Old Charlton, Kent, England; that his next of kind was William Bartholomew, c/o Wm Heimpel, Jadshill, Ontario, Canada; that his date of birth was March 29, 1894; that he was a laborer; and that he was not married. He was described as 5 foot 4-1/2 inches in height; medium complexion; grey eyes; light brown hair. He was a member of the Church of England.
In March 1919, Fredrick Bartholomew, 26, farmer, crossed into the United States throught the port of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He declared that he resided at 367 Riverton Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; that he had no relatives in Canada; and that his final destination was Kansas City, Missouri, United States.
