NotesShips register shows a Donald Beaton age 7 arriving in Canada April 10, 1884.

There is another Donald Beaton age 4 that apparently arrived in 1911 but I can find no inofrmation on that one.

There is a Donald Beaton who enlisted in the first world war, showing his birthday as January 20, 1884, and his attestation papers state he was born in Scotland with his mother still living there.

This Donald Beaton dies overseas during the war.
