He stated he was born in England, his passage was paid by National Childrens Home and he was going to the National Childrens Home, Hamilton, Ontario, his next of kin was William Bee, Spring Grove, Oswald Road, Scunthorpe, England

His brother Alfred sailed to Canada on July 15 1923 on SS Andania aged 21, his passage was paid by Salvation Army
