Notes Edith Jane, sisters Elizabeth and Mary Ellen were transferred to the Barnardo's Girls Village Home in Barkingside Ilford on May 19, 1905. Edith Jane and Elizabeth remained there for approx 15 months whilst Mary Ellen completed almost a two year stay at Barkingside.
Brother Joseph in the meantime had been transferred from Stepney on Aug 26 1905 to Leopold House, another Barnardo's establishment in the East End of London. He remained there for just four weeks before emigrating to Canada on Sept 28 1905 on the SS Canada, arriving Oct 7 1905 in Quebec.
Edith Jane and Elizabeth emigrated to Canada on Aug 2 1906 aboard the SS Dominion, arriving on Aug 11 1906 in Portland.
Mary Ellen on the other hand, remained in England for another two years during which time she was boarded out in Southborough and was then returned to the Girls Village Home for seventeen days prior to her emigration to Canada on Oct 8 1908, aboard the SS Dominion, arriving on Oct 19 1908 in Quebec.
on February 15, 1911, at Goodwood, Uxbridge Township, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Elizabeth Reynolds, Beebe, 18, born to Joseph William Beebe and Jennie Reynolds; and William Beach, 28, widower, farmer, born to John Thomas Beach and Rossanna Rushnell.
