In 1887, Sarah Beecham, 10, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 18 Maria Rye children en route to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, via Suspension Bridge.

She is engaged as nurse, and is a bright healthy child, and the family are fond of her."
