On 8th April 1881, Sarah Beecham, born 1877, admitted to Kensington Union School, from St George's Union, next of kin given as Grandmother, 13 Edge St, discharged on 5 October 1887 Emigrated to Canada, 'child illegitimate'

In 1887, Sarah Beecham, 10, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 18 Maria Rye children en route to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, via Suspension Bridge.

"Copy of Reports of Inspection of Pauper Children sent out to Canada made by Immigration Officers of the Dominion Government and received from the Colonial Office on the 12th December 1888.

Sarah Beecham, aged 10. From parish of St. Mary Abbots, Kensington. Placed with Henry Bickford, Dundas P.O., Tp. Flamborough West, Wentworth, Ontario.?Honest, fairly truthful and improving, trying to do right, she is good to the children, and is well spoken of by Mrs. Bickford, attends Sunday school and belongs to the Band of Hope. She is engaged as nurse, and is a bright healthy child, and the family are fond of her."
