NotesIn 1901, Daisy Beresford, 15 (along with her sister Ada Beresford, 16) arrived at Quebec, Canada, with a group of of 99 Barnardo children en route to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, accompanied by Mr. Owen.

In Barnardos UPS & DOWNS, VIII July - Aug 1902 - Under CHIT-CHAT Page 52 -58, "Ada and Daisy Beresford place near each other."

In 1910, Daisy Beresford, 22, was shown as a companion / nurse to Maria Bickett, 57, in Kearny Ward 3, Hudson, New Jersey, USA. She stated she was single and had immigrated in 1909 to the United States.

On June 20, 1930, at the Toronto Hospital for Consumptives, 55 Belmont Street, Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada, Daisy Florence Beresford, 41, house maid, died due to the complications of pulmonary tuberculosis after a duration of 1 year 9 months. She had been born in England; had lived in Canada for 26 years; was the daughter of George Beresford and Maude Chisery. She was buried in St. Johns Cemetery Norway.
