NotesWilliam Henry came from Liverpool, England to Liverpool Sheltering Home, for Mrs. Birt in Knowlton, Quebec. He was under the charge of Mr. Drumond who had 43 boys in this voyage. William Henry was approximately aged 17 at the time of his arrival.
William Henry married Mary Ann Bentley in 1901 and they had at least one son. William Henry signed up for WWI siting previous military experience with the 52nd Sherbrooke Battalion. He survived with war.
The rest of his life is surrounded in mystery due to confusing travel documents, he possibly went on to the US, his son stayed in Montreal, Quebec until the time of his death.
