NotesA birth registration was found for Eva Bolwell: Date: Jul-Aug-Sep 1868; District: Southampton; County: Hampshire; Volume: 2c; Page: 25. Parents: James Bolwell and Leah Blake, married December 28, 1858, at Independant Chapel, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.

In 1884, Eva Bowell, 19, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of girls and young women.

"Sixteenth Annual Report of the Local Government Board, 1886-87; Copy of Reports of Inspection of Children sent out to Canada, as of February 12, 1887.

Report of Mr. J. J. Daley, Government Immigration Agent at Montreal, P.Q.

Eva Bolwell, aged 16, from Southampton Incorporation, placed with Mrs. Timinis, 96, Cathedral Street, Montreal. Good report of this girl, who is a good servant, and of general good conduct."

On January 25, 1900, at St. Patrick, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, a marriage was registered between Eva Bolwell, daughter of James Bolwell and Lea Blake (both deceased); and Martin Curran, son of Denis Curran (deceased) and Margaret O'Mealey.

Martin Curran and Eva Bolwell had at least 3 children: Elizabeth Muriel Curran, born Januar 13, 1900 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada; Edward Curran, born February 28, 1902 and died September 11, 1925, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada; and Elizabeth Lily Curran, born August 25, 1904 and died January 27, 1990, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Martin Curran died on May 9, 1913, at Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Eva Bolwell Curran died October 29, 1937, at the age of 69, at Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
