NotesThe son of Emily Ellis and William Francis Bramwell who died in Apr-Jun 1902 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. Emily was widowed with 8 children, two of which became wards of Dr. Bernardo's Homes and traveled to North America in 1907. Charles came with his older brother William Francis, but they were separated. Private William Francis Bramwell was Killed in Action in WWI.
Charles is on the 1911 Census as a Boarded in the household on James Horne.

Isabella Elizabeth Bramwell, Charles' younger sister, relocated to Ontario, Canada from England and married George Normal Harley 20 Aug 1923 in Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada.
In Saint Andrews and Saint James Cemetery, Orillia, Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada there is a family block for George Norman Harley and Isabella Elizabeth Bramwell, shared with Charles Bramwell and a cenotaph for William who is buried in France.
